I'm Kirstine, a London-based travel writer, content creator and digital marketer with a slight obsession with finding out what's new, what's worth doing and where to go next in London.

I spend a lot of my time exploring the city - from new openings and exhibitions to beautiful neighbourhoods, hidden gems, seasonal events and places to eat and drink. I love finding the spots that make you think "how have I never been here before?!" and sharing them with people who want to experience more of London.

My day job: Content Manager at Visit London

I'm a Content Manager at Visit London, where I head up the Visit London Blog and work across editorial and e-commerce content for one of the world's most visited cities.

My role covers everything from London's major events and seasonal offerings to family content, new openings, exhibitions, things to do and travel inspiration. In other words, I spend a lot of time keeping an eye on what's happening across the city - which comes in rather handy when I'm deciding where to go at the weekend.

I've written and edited practical London guides, event guides, and destination content, and I've worked with the city's top attractions, galleries, restaurants, and experiences.

A few things I've written:

When I'm not at my desk...

You'll usually find me out exploring London with my camera in hand.

I share my favourite things to do in London along with exciting new openings, hidden gems, neighbourhood guides and seasonal ideas on TikTok - with plenty of top tips along the way.

I'm particularly interested in the places that make London feel exciting beyond the obvious tourist attractions: a brilliant little cafe, an unexpectedly good exhibition, a new market worth knowing about or a neighbourhood that's perfect for an afternoon wander.

As much as I love exploring, my happy place is often a cosy pub somewhere along the Thames – bonus points for live music.

If this sounds like a bit of you, do follow along.
